The Classes

Group Equipment Class

Pilates equipment (reformer, springboard and chair) classes are taught in the contemporary style. Exercises are done prone, supine, standing, side laying, seated and in a high or low kneel position. Group classes are designed for those without outstanding physical limitations. Please call with questions to determine if group classes will be a good choice for you.

Group workouts have a minimum of 2 and maximum of 4 participants and are mixed level. The group environment is intended for injury free clients with no outstanding spinal or movement challenges. They are 55 minutes 
There are currently 12 classes per week, classes start on the half hour.  Advance reservations are recommended and cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will have the regular charge applied to the absence. Illness and injury are the exceptions.

 It's important to have previous Pilates equipment experience to join group classes. To gain the skills necessary please register for an introductory series. The series consists of 2 private sessions at a reduced rate.

Introductory Classes

You will need to be familiar with the Pilates method, the reformer and it's unique characteristics prior to starting a mixed level group equipment class. 

Private Sessions

These classes are scheduled in advance and do not appear on the group class schedule. The content of the class is determined by your specific goals. Private sessions can be scheduled for individuals, duos or trios.
